Ready to learn a new skill? Join us in one (or two) workshops where we will help you explore skills that have been long forgotten & rediscovered - spinning, weaving, Lucet & Trollen Wheel, dyeing, peg loom weaving & assistance with your circular sock machine. Each workshop is delivered with personalised advice in a friendly setting with limited numbers. Peruse upcoming workshops below & click on the photo for further details.

An Intro to Spinning & Weaving
$60 per fortnight lesson (2hr)

A workshop which is tailored to the skill you would like to focus on. As great introduction to both weaving and spinning we will give you the basic skills to then further your interest in either one or both modalities. You will learn about fibre, how to prepare for spinning, the spinning process & then start to experiment with one of our Saori Looms for a two shaft weaving style which highlights texture, colour and a free style of expression. The fabric woven can then be used for a project or garment of your choice such as a Bozar Bag or pouch. We will also introduce you to a few finishing techniques for the warp ends of the fabric
If you have a rigid heddle or table top loom at home & would like to use, you are more than welcome to bring along.

Craft a Cord the Viking way
$60 for 2 hrs 12.30 - 2.30pm

A Lucet is a simple handheld tool dating back to the Viking Era. Commonly used to make cord or braid, plain or beaded for clothing embellishments (ie the cord on our Clint ponchos, the legs on our woven Owls) Lanyards, shoelaces & the list goes on.
We also introduce you to the Trollen Wheel a similar tool to the Japanese ‘Kuminhimo’ disc. Also used for making cord and braid using a slightly different technique.
The cost of $60 for 2 hrs and includes all materials with the use of tools which can then be purchased or hired.
Weave & Sew a Bozar Bag
Dates: To be advised. Please contact if interested in this workshop & we can talk dates.
4 hrs per day over two days, allowing 20min break.
Cost: $160 includes tutor & all materials to weave & complete your Bag.
A fantastic opportunity to weave and create your very own Bozar Bag. Join the girls at TwoFatEwes who will guide you through the steps of weaving, piecing together and completing a gorgeous and very individual Bozar Bag. All materials supplied and the use of a beautiful Saori Loom and sewing machine.
There is an option to join us for another workshop using an Inkle Loom to create a longer shoulder strap. The Book button will take you to our shop where you can select your workshop date.
Peg loom in the Raw (fleece that is)!
$220 Run over two days 4hrs per day OR one full day of 6.5hrs

Second day held in Framlingham.
Time: 10-2pm Light refreshments included. Max 3 people.
Peg Loom weaving offers an alternative to traditional loom weaving and is a particularly great for creating raw fleece floor mats, cushions, dog beds and sleeping mats. This is a wonderful accessible craft with peg looms & wool available for purchase if you would like to do more weaving at home.
You will be supplied with enough yarn spun from naturally coloured fleece, for a small dog bed, mat or cushion. You will also be given approx 100gr bag of çolour pops’. (Come along to our additional dyeing workshop using botanical & Earth Pallet dyes if you would like to create your own colour theme).
On day one we will warp the looms, start weaving and let the fun begin…. Day two we will finish any weaving, take the project off the loom and complete by tidying the warp threads. The project needs to be washed and dried and you will be given full instruction on how to do at home.
